Bruno’s strike gives Abahani another win

Brazilian forward Bruno Rocha scored a spectacular goal to help Abahani Limited Dhaka testing another important win in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League as the traditional Sky-Blue outfits beat host Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra Limited at the Bashundhara Kings Arena on Friday.

Bruno scored the winner in the 74th minute placing home from the six-yard box following a great cross from Rabiul Hasan from the left flank.

With the win Abahani raised to tally to 25 points from 13 matches as they remained in the third position of the league table while Sheikh Russell, who suffered sixth defeat, remained in the eighth position with 11 points from same number of matches. Bruno named player of the match.
