Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited’s hope of winning maiden professional league title faded following another draw as they shared one point each with Chittagong Abahoni Limited in the crucial ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League match at the Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.

Mohammedan, the only unbeaten team in the ongoing league, played another tie game that put them six points behind table toppers Bashundhara Kings. The traditional Black and White outfits played out a goalless draw with Police FC in their previous game.

Mohammedan remained in the second position with 28 points, three points clear Abahani Limited while Chittagong Abahoni took them in the fifth position with 17 points.

Both side scored each in the first half as Arif Hossain gave Mohammedan the lead in the 27^th minute. But David cancelled out Mohammedan’s lead in the 34^th minute to give Chittagong outfits an important point.
