Struggling Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited failed to maintain their winning streak in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League when they played out a 1-1 draw against Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at the Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.

After a barren first half Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng gave the host Rahmatganj the lead in the 56th minute. But Sheikh Russel, who celebrated a win in the last week against Fortis FCL after three consecutive defeats, replied just six minutes later when their Serbian attacker Vojislav Balabanovic found the back of the net.

After 15th round, Sheikh Russel took them into the seventh position with 15 points while Rahmatganj still remained on danger zone with 11 points from same number of outings. They are only five points of Brothers Union.
