Fortis register fourth win

Fortis Football Club Limited registered fourth win in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League when they beat host Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society 1-2 at the Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.

Both sides played a 2-2 tie in the first meeting of the league. This time Fortis collected full three points, thanks to couple of strikes by Rashedul Islam and Pa Omar in the first half. Rashedul gave the lead in the 26th minute while Pa Oman doubled the thing in the 37th minute. Rahmatganj's Samuel reduced the margin converting from the spot in the 50th minute.

The win took Fortis in the sixth position with 16 points from 13 matches while Rahmatganj remained in the relegation zone with their previous earning of 10 points from same number of outings.
