Table toppers Bashundhara Kings ended Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society's unbeaten run in the ongoing ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League with a 4-1 win at the Bashundhara Kings Arena on Friday.

Kings registered the first win in their home venue after suffering a 0-1 defeat over Mohammedan that helped them strengthen their solo lead in the points table with 21 points from eight matches. They are now six points higher than second position holders Mohammedan who played one match less.

Rahmatganj, on the other hand, played seven successive draw before Friday's defeat. They are now in the seventh position with same number of points.

The encounter between two teams became very competitive one with Rahmatganj stunned the hose after taking a lead in the 10th minute of the match.  Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng saw his header following a nice free-kick from Sushanto Tripura found the back of the net. Rakib Hossain, the inform winger leveled the margin in the 26th minute slotting home after a fine pass from Masuk Mia Jonny.

Kings took the lead ten minute into the second half when their Brazilian midfielder Miguel Figueira scored a fabulous free-kick goal. Rahmatganj tried hard to level the thing but Kings goalkeeper Mehedi Hasan Srabon restricted the opponents' forward Dawda Ceesay in the 71st minute.

Kings increased their lead in the added time of the second half with Dorielton Gomes tapping home from a pass from Miguel and then Robson Robinho made it 4-1 converting from the spot after Rahmatganj keeper Md Nayeem put Muguel down inside the box.
