The new coach, Zulfikar Mahmood Mintu could not turn around the fortunes of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club ‍as they lost 2-0 to Chittagong Abahoni in Gopalganj on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, Chittagong Abahoni took the lead in the 52nd minute with Mannaf Rabbi's goal.

After that, Sheikh Jamal was desperate to return to the match but could not find the goal.

Nigerian forward David scored in added time to seal the victory for Abahoni.

Both teams have 6 points each. Sheikh Jamal is ninth in goal difference while Chittagong abahoni is eighth.
